Recording or transcription

Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition for Time Study in iPhone Settings. If transcription does not finish, open the saved check-in and tap Retry transcription. The recording stays available until Retry succeeds or you delete the check-in. Audio is removed after a transcript is saved.

Reminders

Turn on notifications for Time Study in iPhone Settings. In the app, open Settings to choose your reminder interval and active hours. The default is every 60 minutes from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM in your current time zone, including weekends. Turn off Weekends if you want reminders only on weekdays. Reminders stop after four days without opening the app at 30- or 60-minute intervals. The 15-minute interval stops after two days or when the notification queue fills. Open the app to refresh them.

Exporting and deleting

Tap Export to share your full timeline as one JSON file named with the local export date and time. Open a check-in to share any retained recording or delete the check-in and audio.
