Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026
The short version
Cadence works primarily on your iPhone. We do not sell your personal data. Cadence does not require an account and does not send your scripts, recordings, speech-recognition content, or settings to Talented or Meta.
Information and content on your device
Your script and teleprompter settings are stored locally on your device. If you record a video and choose to save it, the video is saved to your Photos library. Talented does not receive these materials.
Camera, microphone, Photos, and local network access
Cadence asks for access only when you use the related feature: Camera and Microphone to record video with sound, Photos to save a recording you choose to keep, and Local Network to connect to a computer on the same Wi-Fi network when you use the optional remote-control feature. These permissions are used to provide the feature and are not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Analytics and advertising
Cadence uses PostHog to understand anonymous product usage, such as app launches, feature use, completed recordings, and subscription events. These events use a randomly generated app identifier and do not include your IP address, scripts, recordings, microphone audio, speech-recognition content, contacts, or precise location. Cadence also includes the Meta SDK to measure app installs, launches, and advertising performance. Meta may receive limited device and app-event information for analytics and attribution under Meta's privacy policy. Advertising identifier collection is disabled in Cadence.
Changes to this policy
If Cadence changes how it handles information, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
